Morandi is developing a new tile production process that will
evolve and revolutionize some of the industry. It is a new method
or innovative process of making PORCELACAST tiles by an industry
evolutionary process of casting heterogeneous minerals and ceramic
elements. It is similar to manufacturing new natural stone.
TESTING
-- Technical specifications were carried out by CENTRO
CERAMICO DI BOLOGNA and at the MODENA UNIVERSITY. Results give
a very comfortable indication that all the parameters such as:
surface resistance, water absorption, chemical resistance, frost
resistance, modulus of rupture, resistance to thermal shock,
abrasion resistance, etc. have been analyzed until they are
better then the standard production. This is directly resulting
from the characteristics of the casting process.
We don't
want to boast as being the best, but we can easily say that
these Porcelacast
products can cover all standards requirements. Each time
tile testing was done, it was always compared with one tile
produced by a leading Italian producer and comparison technical
characteristics were undeclared.
Officine Morandi s.r.l. has secured all the certification required
following CEE / ISO standards.
